5Great bus tour. Friendly guide.
Great WhatsApp communication the day of. Pick up on time at my hotel. Very big bus. We first stopped at the Museo Taller de Casapueblo. Fun. We then drove through Piriápolis. Stopped for 15 minutes at The Hand in Punta del Este and then were dropped off in town for a little over 3 hours of self guided walk about. Time flies. Guide was very nice and gave great tips on how to get to the sea lions at the port. Had a great time. Got ice cream and an arepa and then drove back to Montevideo in about 2 hours. The bus was super nice and comfy. You can ask the guide questions anytime. He speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese fluently. Great value for the price.

5Great Full Day Tour of Punta del Este
Very good full day tour from Montevideo to Punta del Este. The guide was very knowledgeable of the area and history of the city, and we stopped at various locations along the way. Great full day to explore the Rio de la Plata coastline of Uruguay.
5Very complete tour of Punta del Este
Very complete tour of Punta del Este with a couple of stops before in Piriapolis and the Casapueblo museum, both of which were great photo stops. In Punta del Este travellerd get a couple hours to walk the downtown on their own.
5I truly enjoyed this tour.
I highly recommend this tour! Our guide was fluent in three languages and did an excellent job communicating with everyone in the group. One of the biggest highlights was having a bus with a restroom, which made the trip much more comfortable. I also loved all the stops and the panoramic viewpoints along the way. I would definitely book this tour again. I loved that the tour guide mentioned to keep the same seats since it can get really chaotic when tour guides don’t establish rules or take control. The only thing I would change is the pickup process in Montevideo. Instead of stopping at so many different hotels, I think it would be better to have one or two central pickup locations. The current pickup and drop-off process takes almost two hours, which makes for a very long start and end to the day.

4Scenic tour to Punta del Este.
This was a fun way to see sights on the way to Punta del Este and to see the town itself. Beautiful views along the coast and the bus ride was comfortable. Pablo was friendly, knowledgeable and shared interesting stories. The total time was closer to 11 hours, so it is a long day.
4An awesome day trip from Montevideo
If you have the ability to spend a day in Punte del Este, this is the perfect day trip! The drive along the coast is breathtaking and the guide will teach you a lot about the unique culture and personality of Uruguay. We enjoyed the free time in Punte—a long seafood lunch with views of the port/river. The drive is long though, so be prepared to give up about 10 hours of your day for this excursion.
Montevideo is Uruguay's relaxed capital on the Río de la Plata, with an old-town peninsula, a long seafront promenade and a love of grilled meat.
Montevideo spreads along the north shore of the Río de la Plata, where the river is as wide as a sea. The Ciudad Vieja, the old town on a small peninsula, is where the city began in the 1720s, a district of Art Deco and colonial buildings. Plaza Independencia opens onto it, with the Palacio Salvo tower and the statue and mausoleum of José Artigas, the national hero, and the Teatro Solís, opened in 1856, stands nearby.
Top-ranked sights in Montevideo: Rambla of Montevideo (Rambla de Montevideo), Montevideo Independence Plaza (Plaza Independencia), Montevideo Port Market (Mercado del Puerto).
