1. The first historical point we’ll visit is the Castle of Berati located on 190 m high hill to the right of the Osumi River.

2. Then, still inside the Fortress, we’ll visit the Iconographic Museum ‘’Onufri’’. The museum features on display 173 objects belonging to the found of Albanian Churches and monasteries as well as to Berat.

3. Afterwards comes the Holy Trinity Church which is a medieval byzantine church inside the castle fortress, part of the UNESCO world heritage site.

4. The adventure continues in the old quarter of Mangalem, which will send you back in time to the middle ages from the cobbled streets to the architectural peculiarities of the houses. Here is where we’ll discover why Berati is called the city of 1001 windows and we will visit: The King’s Mosque (Sulltan’s Mosque), which was built by Sultan Bajaziti II in the 15 century and it features an impressing ceiling mural in the prayer hall; the Bachelor Mosque, which was created to serve the wards of the bachelors of the city’s various guilds and became a cultural monument 1961.

5. Last but not least, we’ll visit the quarter of Gorica and we’ll get there by walking beside the Osumi River and getting at the Gorica Bridge, it’s one of the oldest and most famous Ottoman bridges. The bridge will lead us to the Gorica Castle and the Spyrodonit Church.
