Route

  1. We meet at the entrance of the I360 shop. This is at the beachside. When you have your face in the direction of the tower (face to the road), it is the shop entrance to the right. We meet at the I360, which is one of the latest landmarks in our city. This viewing platform lets you experience Brighton from the sky. After a brief introduction and some stretching, we’ll go on a discovery tour of Brighton in a way that you will never forget! We will gently run from A to B and make stops at landmarks. take photos and listen to some stories from your guide. All levels are welcome, but you need to be able to run at least 4 km. Please note this is not a race and that the itinerary here is an example only.

  2. After running along the seafront, we get to our city's famous Pier. This is the place to be if you want to go for a ride or see Brighton from a different angle.

  3. After a visit to the Pier, we get a little glimpse of Kemptown before moving over to the Royal Pavilion. Our very own 'Taj Mahal' style palace dominates the central city. Don't forget to bring your camera so you can feel like a royal in front of it!

    Komt langs

  4. The Brighton Dome is just around the corner from the Royal Pavilion, so we can easily run and dance to our next destination. Today the Brighton Dome is a place for art lovers and those interested in music, theatre, creative workshops and exhibitions. But once upon a time, it had a very different function. Join us to find out more.

    Komt langs

  5. From the Dome, we run our way into a very interesting area. Welcome to the former Brighton slum area with a lot of arts & crafts, small independent shops and lots of colours. Make sure to get your camera ready!

    Komt langs

  6. The North Laine shall not be confused with The Lanes. We continue our running adventure to get to the oldest part of Brighton, which is at the same time also one that has seen a lot of development in recent years.

About Brighton

Brighton, on the Sussex coast, is a lively seaside city of pebble beach, Regency architecture, a pier and narrow shopping lanes.

Brighton grew from a fishing village into a fashionable resort in the eighteenth century, and in the early nineteenth the Prince Regent, later George IV, rebuilt his seaside villa as the Royal Pavilion, an Indian-style palace with domes and minarets over an interior in Chinese taste. Palace Pier, which opened in 1899, stretches out over the sea with arcades and rides, and the pebble beach, lined with deckchairs and cafés, runs below the seafront promenade.

Top-ranked sights in Brighton: Devil’s Dyke, Royal Pavilion, Brighton Dome.
