In evidenza
This is the kind of experience you can carry with you for the rest of your life, especially for children. Cape Verde is the first country in the world where more Caretta Caretta turtles come to lay their eggs. Boa Vista Island, with the largest area of beaches in Cape Verde, is the best place to witness this phenomenon. With pleasant nights under a sky full of stars, there’s nothing better than experiencing one of nature’s most beautiful phenomena—the nesting of sea turtles. We are waiting for you to share this unique moment in your life.

About Sal Rei
Sal Rei is the small main town of Boa Vista, a flat, dry Cape Verde island of white-sand beaches, dunes and nesting loggerhead turtles.
Sal Rei is a low, sandy fishing town on the west coast of Boa Vista, one of the eastern islands of Cape Verde, off West Africa. Pastel-coloured houses front a sheltered bay, with a small islet just offshore topped by an old fort, and a few streets of cafés and shops. The island is flat and desert-like, with sandy plains and low volcanic hills.
