5A very good day in Marseilles
A fantastic day. Really clear pre-tour instructions & pick up at the cruise pier. Right outside the cruise ship dock. Nice air conditioned van with 6 guests total including me & my Wife. Sebastian, our driver and guide was amazing relaxed and calming guy, full of insightful information about Aix en Provence & Marseille. Had us back to the ship right at 4pm as promised. Highly recommend this tour.
5Great day in Marseille
Marseille was wonderful! Our driver, Audelle (sure I am not spelling her name correctly I apologize) was perfect. She was so pleasant and gave us so much information and really made our day! So much history and everyone we met was so kind. Thank you for a lovely day!!

About Marseille
Marseille, France's oldest city, is a Mediterranean port of old forts, hilltop basilicas and limestone coves, and the home of bouillabaisse.
Greek sailors founded Marseille around 600 BC, making it the oldest city in France. The Vieux-Port is its centre, a long harbour ringed by cafés and the morning fish stalls, guarded by two forts at its mouth. On a hill above, the basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde carries a gilded statue of the Virgin Mary and shows the harbour and the islands from its terrace.
