1. 7:00 - Partenza da Nairobi e partenza per Naivasha, breve sosta al punto panoramico della Great rift valley. Arrivo alla porta degli inferni intorno alle 9:30. Inizio del tour in bicicletta al cancello infernale 8 chilometri fino alla gola con animali sulla strada. Ore 11 - Visita delle gole all'interno del parco. Le gole sono piccole e sottili depressioni di massa terrestre dove si può camminare di lato. Ci vorrà 1 ora. 13:00 - Terminare i tour e riportare le bici indietro di 8 chilometri al cancello. Note: 1.Nel caso in cui siate stanchi o non possiate andare in bicicletta potete fare un giro del parco con il veicolo e l’autista è felice di fermarsi parecchio per la visione del paesaggio e scattare foto 2.Nel caso in cui siate stanchi di tornare in bicicletta dalla gola, siamo lieti di darvi un giro gratuito fino al cancello su richiesta

2. Fai un giro in barca facoltativo di 1 ora nel lago per osservare gli uccelli e osservare gli ippopotami. Qui al lago c'è anche un ristorante dove si può pranzare. Fine delle attività verso le 16:00 e rientro a Nairobi.

• 5Very nice mix of adventure and a nice team

  The experience was perfect for a day trip out of Nairobi, with a good mix of different landscapes, animals and outdoor activities, just in one day. It was not my first time in a park but first time cycling in a national park, in between zebra, antilopes, some giraffe and buffalo, in the Lion King like landscape, followed by a walk in the gorge, and a boat cruise in lake Naivasha, full of birds and hippo. The team was also very nice: David is a polite very interesting person and we had interesting discussions, even on the Kenyan economic and fiscal policy. Seth the guide was also very nice. The team from African Beast was also very understanding and answered my requests. Note that as indicated in the title, the tour does not include the bike rental and guide (it is only 20 USD), I hope this will be clarified in the section 'what is included'. But I recommend to do it: it can be a bit warm (you need protection from the sun) but any one with no serious health issue can do it.

  We had a great day. We booked travel only to the park and lake, as we were a mixed group of foreign and citizens. Jane picked us up and was very helpful throughout the tour. Cycling in the park was fun, though a little tiring for the young ones in the heat with the manual bikes. Our guide there took us into the canyon which had good views. After cycling the lunch was welcome, go for local rather than western food. The ride on the lake was cooling with plenty of birds and hippos around. We all slept on the way back to Nairobi.

  We had a great driver/ guide who made sure we fully enjoyed our experience! The bike tour was very cool seeing the animals and the natural wonders! The lake was also beautiful and very serene.

• 5Fabulous Trip Going Hell and Back!!

  Omgoodness what a wonderful experience. Our driver, Jane, arrived early to our residence so that we could beat the Nairobi traffic out of the city. On the way to Hell’s Gate she stopped so that we could take some quick pictures, but don’t buy souvenirs because they will take advantage of you unless your are a skillful negotiator haha. We had a wonderful time at the park. Jane introduced us to Gomez our guide who helped us select bicycles. I like this option because the bikes are lent by people in the community and I like supporting the local community. Think globally— act locally!! Our guide Gomez helped us with purchasing our entrance tickets. He was always communicative of the prices and explained every fee. We even visited the gorge which is actually owned by the local Masai population so they have an additional $5 fee per person, cash only. Gomez ensured that we had a terrific experience. He was so kind and patient with us explaining the history, and landscape of the park. I even got to go rock climbing for the first time ever!! After we all had lunch at a nearby restaurant suggested by Jane (great food, service, and prices) before heading to Lake Naivasha. Thank you, Gomez and Jane for an amazing experience. Gomez was a wonderful tour guide and Jane an excellent driver navigating us safely back to Nairobi. Next time we will have to check out the natural hot springs spa!

• 5A great day out - at our pace!

  A great trip with Jane our driver who took us there and back and organised the cycles and lunch as well as the boat ride. She was great with our son and made us all feel energised! Jane was knowledgable and a joy to travel with. Would definitely recommend her for your trip! Take some water, snacks, sun cream and a hat and sunglasses - all very useful for the day!

• 5An Incredible Tour with an Outstanding Guide, Joash

  experience! Hell’s Gate National Park was absolutely breathtaking—from the stunning cliffs and gorges to the wildlife and incredible scenery. The Naivasha boat ride was equally amazing, with beautiful views, hippos, and so many birds in their natural habitat. It was the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. A special thank you to Joash, our guide and driver, who made the trip exceptional. He safely drove us from Nairobi to Naivasha and back, was punctual, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a memorable experience. His recommendations and local insights made the tour even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kenya. If you get the chance to have Joash as your guide, you’re in great hands! Thank you for an amazing day filled with unforgettable memories. 🇰🇪🌿🚤🦓❤️
