• 5Unforgettable Experience

  We truly enjoyed this tour. We got to experience the beauty of the Rio Celeste and the NP. Throughout the NP and the sloth encounter portion of the day we got to see multiple eyelash pit vipers, a family of white-nose coati, sloths, a red-eyed tree frog, a few blue jean poison dart frog, and so much local flora and fauna. We got to enjoy the best pineapple we’ve ever had and a great lunch. All of this considered, the best part of the experience was our tour guide Jose. He was so knowledgeable and entertained all of our questions. This tour was unforgettable and we’ll be talking about it for years to come.

  We truly enjoyed this tour. We got to experience the beauty of the Rio Celeste and the NP.   We had a fabulous excursion with Johan as our guide to the waterfall and Fernando showed us amazing wildlife (sloths, viper snakes, etc). It was an educational day and a great way to explore the ecosystem of Costa Rica. Highly recommend!

Playa Hermosa is a quiet beach village in Guanacaste on Costa Rica's north-west Pacific coast, with a curved bay and sunsets over the water.

Playa Hermosa lies in the Gulf of Papagayo on the Pacific side of north-west Costa Rica, in the province of Guanacaste. The beach curves around a calm bay, with a few hotels and restaurants along it and low hills of dry forest behind. It is small and relaxed, with Playas del Coco, the nearest larger beach town, a short drive to the south-west.
