Private lessons are a fantastic way to learn at your own pace and make a dramatic improvement in your confidence and skills on the piste. They are a good idea for all levels, from complete beginners who want to progress to blue and red slopes, to those that want to prefect their techniques. You don't have to learn alone, you can learn with family or friends of a similar level. We can take up to 3 people within a private lesson.

5Can’t wait to go again!
It was our first time trying skiing and we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor - we were very lucky to have Phil all to ourselves 😆 As a couple learning later in life, Phil was very patient, encouraging, and knowledgable as well as being a very interesting and fun guy to talk to in between all the falling over! He knew exactly when we needed to just try on our own and when we needed a little extra help (or pep talk) that made it all a truly enjoyable experience. I cannot recommend Phil enough. We had booked the rental and pass as well, and everyone we spoke to from Hunters was incredibly friendly - they really made us feel welcome as beginners to the sport from start to finish. Our only regret is that we only had 2 days! Thank you for making our first ski experience an awesome one - we can’t wait for next winter to try again! 🎿🥰
5My sking was taken to the next level
We had Phil & Danny as our instructors who were both amazingly patient & extremely helpful in making g us feel at ease but also challenging us enough to get the most out of our trip. We learned so much in 3 short days and will definitely be back & would highly recommend both Phil & Danny to anyone who was coming to borovets. They made the trip that much better. Thank you

It was the most amazing 3 days. Phil was my instructor and Danni was my boyfriends. Well let me tell you, the patience Phil had was beyond unreal with me. Day one was ok, day two was wild... how he managed to get himself up to come to me on day 3 is amazing to me, but he did and what a day we had. He explains everything so well, he is kind and gentle, he likes a laugh, tells good stories, fills you full of confidence and knows when to not take a soft approach (and when he definitely should). I tested every skill that man had and he still turned up, and taught me to actually ski. I WILL be at the next Olympics... 🤣🤣 Danni had such a laugh with Jon and was always there to give us support. A wonderful, wonderful team and an amazing few days. Thank you Phil for giving me the time and patience I needed.
5Fantastic ski school with an outstanding instructor – Agni was brilliant!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with the ski school, especially our instructor Agni. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and made every lesson enjoyable. Over the six days she helped build my confidence massively and explained techniques in a way that was easy to understand. Agni has a great balance of professionalism and fun, and you can really tell she cares about helping her students improve. I would highly recommend both the ski school and Agni to anyone coming to Borovets.

The skiing lesson with Agnι was wonderful. We enjoyed the mountain and with her guidance as beginners, we felt safe and were able to further develop our skills. I highly recommend her.

About Borovets
Borovets is a ski resort in pine forest on the slopes of the Rila Mountains, with Musala, the highest peak in the Balkans, rising nearby.
Borovets is a resort in the Rila Mountains of western Bulgaria, set among pine forest at about 1,300 metres. It began life as a royal hunting estate and has been a mountain retreat since the late nineteenth century. Hotels, chalets and restaurants gather around a small centre, and the road down leads through the old town of Samokov.
