• 5Fantastic private tour of...

  Fantastic private tour of the Island. Really chilled driver who was happy to take you wherever you wanted and made some great suggestions. West Bay was lovely as was the Manawakie Park were you come up close with monkeys, so sweet. High recommend. Tip: You do need to come right out of the port to meet your driver, about a 5 minute walk, but he’s allowed to drop you back on the return.

• 5A great day with Roatan Fun Tours (Justin!)

  We had contacted Roatan Fun Tours just for transport to a local resort we were spending the day at. Everything was so nice, I regret not booking a tour with them lol. Our driver, Justin, was so sweet and personable and booking was very simple. I hope I have a reason to come back to the island in the future so I can use them again!

• 5Enjoyed Roatan

  Jeffrie was a great tour guide. We had a nice day with him. Saw the sloth/monkeys and then Bradys Cay. We were supposed to go to brewery and mangroves but weather and traffic made us decide to cut trip short. Not Jeffrie’s fault, just one of those things. Since we were on cruise, we didn’t want to chance being late For those who’ve never been to Roatan, get off ship and go thru Taxi area towards “downtown”. Tour drivers are across street

• 5Private Driver that is cheaper than the big bus tours

  Private Tour with Big J was amazing. He took us to all the places we wanted to go (sloths, monkeys, chocolate & rum factory) and recommended a few places that were amazing (wonderful view of the ocean for pics and local shopping and even took us to a local place for lunch). Then took us back to port curbside and avoided all the traffic. Would definitely do again. It was just my husband and I- no piling up in a 20 passenger van with people we don't know and have to wait on. We were able to do this at our own pace and make it what we wanted. Fantastic experience.

About Roatan

Roatan is the largest of Honduras's Bay Islands, a long, narrow Caribbean island with white-sand beaches, reefs for diving and small fishing communities.

Roatan lies off the north coast of Honduras, a long ridge of green hills only a few kilometres wide. Its north shore faces the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second largest in the world, so snorkelling and scuba diving are the main attractions. West Bay Beach has a long curve of soft sand and shallow clear water, and West End, a laid-back village of dive shops, is nearby.
