• 5The Best Malta Tour

  My wife and I spent a wonderful eight hours touring Malta today with Edmond. (His business is so busy he and his wife had to drive vans today while leaving their son to manage the office - a true family business!) The day was perfect - perfect weather, perfect pacing, perfect itinerary. We saw it all and stayed as long (or as little) as we wanted at each place. We have toured a lot in our travels and this was right up there with the best experiences we have had.

• 5Great Private Day Trip

  My driver/guide is no less than the Boss, Edmond., the man himself! I really enjoyed it. It’s really my pace without the annoying time limits and being conssious that ime is not forever I paced myself adequately and covered a lot of ground in 8 hours. We sampled local patries from a street food shop away from the touristy places. Edmond showed me the must-see places in mainland Malta starting from the airport through my drop-off point in Valetta and many points of interest along the way. Boat right in the grotto did nit operate during my visit due to sea conditions. Recommended.

  We had a great day in Malta. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. He even took us to a local neighborhood spot for a quick lunch, food was delicious, and brought us to some nice spots for photos.

About Mellieħa

Mellieħa is a hillside village at the north-western end of Malta, above one of the island's longest sandy beaches, with sea views towards Gozo.

Mellieħa stands on a ridge at the north-western end of Malta, the last sizeable village before the ferry crossing to Gozo. Close to its parish church, a sanctuary to the Virgin Mary that began as a natural cave has drawn pilgrims for centuries, and the Red Tower, a seventeenth-century watchtower, stands on a nearby hill. At the foot of the ridge, Għadira Bay curves around a wide, shallow beach, one of the longest on the island.
