We'll pick you up at your ship or hotel, and then drive up to the highest point in Marseille, Notre Dame de la Garde, for a spectacular 360° view of the city, coastline and mountains. Then we'll drive down into the heart of it where we'll see the most important sites and get a feel for Marseille's main attraction: IT'S PEOPLE with their independent spirit and happy-go-lucky style. You'll visit The Old Port, the fish market, the oldest neighborhood in France, le Panier, and the Fort St. Jean. Then we'll drive along the city's beautiful coast and back to your ship or hotel. There's so much to see here! If you have any special requests, please let me know. NB. I do one tour on the morning and one on the afternoon.

About Marseille
Marseille, France's oldest city, is a Mediterranean port of old forts, hilltop basilicas and limestone coves, and the home of bouillabaisse.
Greek sailors founded Marseille around 600 BC, making it the oldest city in France. The Vieux-Port is its centre, a long harbour ringed by cafés and the morning fish stalls, guarded by two forts at its mouth. On a hill above, the basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde carries a gilded statue of the Virgin Mary and shows the harbour and the islands from its terrace.
