In evidenza
The Israel Museum is Israel's largest encyclopedic museum. One can easily get lost there for hours. I know your time is limited and precious when visiting Jerusalem so I've crafted a tour in the museum that hits all the 'must see' exhibits. All the findings and references your guides will be talking about while traveling through Israel are here, on display. Through the exhibit we will rediscover the Biblical narrative in the context of the material culture and lives in the Land and surrounding territories. Some burning questions will be answered, the Bible will come alive. A story you know so well, like you've never heard it before.

Itinerario
aka The Holy-land Model, this 1-50 scale model of Jerusalem is a wonderful visual of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus. With a quick walk one can graps the geography of the ancient city which offers an additional layer of understanding to scripture and the historical development of Jerusalem.
The most important archaeological finding of our time - The Dead Sea Scrolls - are on display here in 'The Shrine of the Book'. The miraculous story of the finding of the scrolls, the material objects found in the excavations and, finally, the scrolls themselves, 2000 and 2200 year old copies of Biblical scripture including a facsimile of the entire book of Isaiah. All house in a beautiful and unique architecture of the Shrine of the Book.
The Archaeological wing of the Israel museum is home to some of the "Crown Jewels" of Israeli archaeological research. Follow me on a journey along the Biblical narrative in light of the archaeological findings, let the Bible come alive. I promise, you will never read the Bible in the same way again.

About Jerusalem
Jerusalem is an ancient hill city, sacred to Jews, Christians and Muslims, with a walled Old City of stone lanes, markets and shrines.
Jerusalem stands among the Judean hills, about 750 metres above sea level, and its Old City, enclosed by Ottoman walls of the sixteenth century, is divided into Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Armenian quarters. The Western Wall, the Dome of the Rock with its golden dome, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre lie within a short walk of each other, and the Old City is listed by UNESCO.
