The tour concludes at Al Shafi’i Mosque, one of the city’s oldest and most significant mosques.

About Jeddah

Jeddah has been a port on the Red Sea since ancient times, and a landing point for pilgrims travelling to Mecca, which lies to the east. Al-Balad, its old quarter and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, preserves tall coral-stone houses with carved wooden balconies, called roshan, and narrow lanes, and the souks around them still trade in spices, textiles and perfume.
