Entry and tour of Housesteads Roman fort. The most complete example of a Roman fort in Britain.
Optional walk along a section of Hadrian's wall path. You can choose to take a hike along a section of the wall (either a 2.7mile section that includes Sycamore Gap, or a shorter 1 mile section that includes Milecastle 42). Your guide will provide the drop off and pick up.
Entry to the Roman fort and museum. Vindolanda provides a fascinating profile of Roman life before and after the building of Hadrian's Wall.
Opt to enjoy some real ale, brewed on site at the Twice Brewed Inn. There is also an option to have lunch here before heading off to Corbridge.
Stop for a late lunch and a short tour of the village of Corbridge before enjoying some free time to wander.
