Itinerario
First, we visit the Cultural & Heritage Center in Derynia to watch a short film exhibiting Famagusta before the invasion. Then we get on the roof of the center to have a closer look on Famagusta over the border (binoculars provided). You can have a coffee or buy refreshments in the center.
We commence by seeing Famagusta as we see it today; an abandoned Ghost Town. After crossing the border we will drive along the fence which surrounds this once glamorous city, before arriving on its renowned sandy beach where we view the deserted hotels up close along its coast. We then continue by circling the moat of the gothic city where the castle walls tower over us and finally enter inside and tour the city within the walls where 365 churches and cathedrals which once stood witness to centuries of history gone by. Free time will be given to walk around the city to explore things further or sit back and enjoy a coffee and their famous sweets.
Stroll through the street of the timeless abandoned hotels and once prestige properties and shopfronts all the way down to the Golden sand shore and back

1No management or feedback on your booking
The only response you get from this company is after being 30minutes late on your booking telling you that they have forgotten about you.
4Good trip.
Pick up was on time and everything was a described. The whole occupation has a lot of parts and details and it might have been helpful with a written time line about what happened when. I had so many questions. George could have had a clearer narrative about what happened when and why. All his jokes was kind of confusing-it is sufficient to just be nice and competent.
5Great trip
Very interesting trip. Our guide George was great
5A REAL LIFE FILMSET AWAITS Varosha
Absolutely worth the money to hire the buggy with driver. Takes you around and explains everything from 1974. Whether you live here or holiday, you have to do this tour. It is eye-opening. It is like a massive filmset.

About Ayia Napa
Ayia Napa, on the south-east tip of Cyprus, is a resort of pale sandy bays, a sea-cave coast and a medieval monastery in its old centre.
Ayia Napa lies on the south-east corner of Cyprus, in the Famagusta District, where a run of sandy bays meets the open Mediterranean. In the old centre, a monastery from the Venetian period stands in a quiet courtyard shaded by an ancient sycamore fig. Beyond it, the harbour is a small fishing port with restaurants, while the town's strip of bars and clubs stretches inland.
Top-ranked sights in Ayia Napa: Agioi Anargyroi Chapel, Love Bridge, Ayia Napa Harbour.
