Itinerario
Lake Atitlán, surrounded by the majestic San Pedro, Tolimán, and Atitlán volcanoes, is considered one of the world's most breathtaking natural destinations. Its crystal-clear waters embrace picturesque Maya villages rich in culture, traditions, and colorful handicrafts. Panajachel, the main gateway to the lake, offers a vibrant atmosphere with excellent restaurants, cafés, art galleries, and the famous Santander Street, where boats depart to explore the charming lakeside villages that make this destination truly unforgettable.
Discover the magic of **San Juan La Laguna**, one of the most colorful Tz’utujil Maya towns on the shores of Lake Atitlán. Wander through vibrant streets decorated with umbrellas and stunning murals, visit traditional weaving cooperatives where artisans preserve ancestral techniques, and explore local art galleries. Experience the authentic flavors of handmade chocolate and pure local honey while immersing yourself in the rich culture, warm hospitality, and breathtaking scenery that make this charming village an unforgettable destination. An optional visit to the Kaqasiiwaan Viewpoint offers spectacular panoramic views of the lake. After we take the boat back to Panajachel time to have lunch and departure back to Antigua or Guatemala city.
Santa Catarina Palopó is a picturesque Kaqchikel Maya village on the shores of Lake Atitlán, reached by a scenic drive from Panajachel. Less frequently included in traditional tours, the village offers colorful painted houses, narrow streets, beautiful lake and volcano views, and an authentic glimpse into local life. Traveling by car allows visitors to enjoy the spectacular lakeside road and discover a quieter, culturally rich community away from the most visited tourist routes.

About Antigua
Antigua Guatemala is a colonial city of cobbled streets, ruined churches and pastel façades, ringed by three volcanoes in the Guatemalan highlands.
Antigua was the capital of Spanish Guatemala until earthquakes in 1773 led to the move of the government to the present capital. The grid of cobbled streets and low colonial houses survived, together with the ruins of grand churches and convents, and the town is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The yellow Santa Catalina Arch, with its clock tower, frames Volcán de Agua at the end of a street.
Top-ranked sights in Antigua: Antigua Central Park (Parque Central), Cerro de la Cruz (Hill of the Cross), La Merced Church (Iglesia de la Merced).
