The first destination we will visit the highest inhabited village in Portugal, located at 1050 meters above sea level, Sabugueiro. We walk around the town for a while and get to know one of the oldest Portuguese shepherd dog species, the Serra da Estrela Dog. We will continue the journey with the destination at the top of the mountains, but first we will pass through some iconic places in the mountains: Mondeguinho; the village of Manteigas; the Zêzere Glacier Valley and Covão da Ametade; reaching the top of 1996 meters we have the Torre. You will have the opportunity to taste the famous Queijo of Serra on your own, the most typical cheese in the region and also with the sausages. Afterwards, we will begin the descent through the Ski Resort, Lagoa Comprida and Senhora of Desterro. We will conclude the tour by arriving at the starting point at 5:00 pm.

About Coimbra
Coimbra is a hill city on the Mondego River in central Portugal, home to a centuries-old university, a baroque library and its own style of fado.
Coimbra rises above the Mondego River in central Portugal and was the country's capital in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. Its university, founded in 1290 and settled in Coimbra from 1537, is the oldest in Portugal, and the old campus on the hill is a UNESCO site with the gilded Joanina Library and a tall clock tower.
