About Soufrière
Soufrière, on St Lucia's south-west coast, is a small colonial-era town in the shadow of the twin Pitons, with volcanic springs and black-sand beaches.
Soufrière is St Lucia's old French capital, founded in the eighteenth century and set on a bay under steep green peaks.
