5Excellent day in the Alsace!
This was a wonderful day ~ our guide, Thierry, was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. The wineries that we visited were incredible, and we got to lunch in one of the adorable local villages. All around, a perfect day!

Thierry was a wonderful guide through the Alsatian villages. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and with a deep knowledge of the area, wines, and wineries. The tastings were well planed, educational, and the wines - all enjoyable. I highly recommend the tour!

It was a nice trip. From the description it sounded a little like "just" wine tasting, but we did get in some sightseeing in small villages too.
4Fun way to spend the day!
Tour guide was great and one of the wineries was an amazing intimate experience sitting at a table and learning from a local family vineyard. The other two were just okay one was another local family vineyard but less intimate just standing in shop and one was in a tiny store of what seemed to be a much more commercial setting. Overall great value, great tour guide and fun experience.

Beautiful scenery, fine selection and variety of wines sampled in three different Alsatian cities, exceptional service provided by tour leader (Lucas), small group size made the experience positive
4Exceptional guide and lovely wines
Our guide was absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable about the Alsace region. The first winery was great and very personalised for our group, the second was average as the winery staff gave no explanation of the wines, and the third again average unfortunately as we had to stand and drink which felt very regimented. We saw some beautiful countryside and met some wonderful people doing the tour.

About Colmar
Colmar, in Alsace, is a half-timbered wine town of flower-lined canals and pastel houses, set between the Vosges mountains and the Rhine.
Colmar's old town is a compact maze of half-timbered houses with steep gables, painted in blues, pinks and ochres, around the Church of St Martin. The Maison des Têtes, covered in carved faces, and the Pfister House are among the finest. In Petite Venise, flower-hung houses stand along the Lauch river, and flat-bottomed boats glide beneath the bridges. Auguste Bartholdi, the sculptor of the Statue of Liberty, was born in Colmar.
