The Château des Forges**** will welcome you in one of its most beautiful rooms for an exceptional night. The next morning, a breakfast will await you after this first day.
From late morning, the Guide will present you the history of Saint-Maurice Cathedral, its architecture, and the transformations it has undergone over the centuries. Inside, you will discover the secrets of this building.
Facing the Saint-Maurice Cathedral, Clément Paillard's table will welcome you for a gourmet lunch. This moment will be an opportunity to exchange with the Guide, share anecdotes, and benefit from his advice to discover more about the city and its good addresses.

About Angers
Angers is the old capital of Anjou on the Maine River, with a giant black-and-white castle, medieval tapestries and the vineyards of the Loire close by.
Angers' château is a fortress of dark slate and pale tuffeau stone with seventeen round towers, raised in the thirteenth century above the Maine river. Inside hangs the Apocalypse set, a monumental series of tapestries woven in the late fourteenth century that illustrates the Book of Revelation. The cathedral of Saint-Maurice and the half-timbered Maison d'Adam stand in the old centre.
