Why turtle watching with Rotcha-Tours? A professional, well-coordinated team that eliminates unnecessary walking on the beaches. Because we work with radio and send the guys ahead with whom we are in constant contact. We will pick you up from your hotel or holiday accommodation at around 6 p.m. After about an hour's drive, we will reach the nature reserve on the east coast of Boa Vista, where 80% of the egg laying takes place. I ask you to wear good shoes and dark and warm clothing! Sometimes we have to be patient, depending on when we can observe the egg laying, we are back at around 11 p.m. 99.9% sighting guarantee.

We will pick you up from your hotel or holiday accommodation at around 6 p.m. After around an hour's drive we will reach the nature reserve on the east coast of Boa Vista, where 80% of the eggs are laid (loggerhead turtles). I ask you to wear good shoes and dark, warm clothing. It is recommended that you have mosquito repellent with you! Sometimes we have to be patient, depending on when we can observe the eggs being laid, we will be back at around 11 p.m. We travel in small groups, i.e. max. 12 people. About Sal Rei
Sal Rei is the small main town of Boa Vista, a flat, dry Cape Verde island of white-sand beaches, dunes and nesting loggerhead turtles.
Sal Rei is a low, sandy fishing town on the west coast of Boa Vista, one of the eastern islands of Cape Verde, off West Africa. Pastel-coloured houses front a sheltered bay, with a small islet just offshore topped by an old fort, and a few streets of cafés and shops. The island is flat and desert-like, with sandy plains and low volcanic hills.
