Rutt

  1. Meet your guide by the Tiber river in front of the entrance of the Castle and explore together the notorious bridge and its statues. Discover the dark side of Rome through the esoteric messages hidden in the details.

    15 min

  2. Take a fascinating journey back in time and swipe the history of the Castle from its original function as a dynastic mausoleum to its later role as a fortress of the Popes. See the "secret" passage that connects the Castle with the Vatican and visit the tomb of Emperor Hadrian. Walkthrough the astonishing Papal corridors and rooms and be amazed by the Gran Loggia of Paul III. Marvel at the stunning grotesque motifs and at the illusionistic Trompe l'oile painting. End your tour in the upper terrace, from where you can soak in one of the best panoramic views of Rome. Please note: access to the Passetto di Borgo, the passage connecting Vatican City to Castel Sant'Angelo, is not included in this tour

About Rom

Top-ranked sights in Rom: Colosseum, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel.
