Favela Tour

During the Favela Tour by Rocinha, guests experience a guided and responsible cultural immersion in one of Rio de Janeiro’s most iconic communities. The tour begins with the arrival at Rocinha and a brief historical introduction about the formation of the favela, its growth and the daily life of the residents. Along the way, we walk through streets and alleys where the community pulses, observing the local trade, schools, churches and living spaces. During the journey, guides share real stories about challenges, achievements and community transformations, providing a human and stereotyped view. The tour includes stops at strategic points with stunning panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro, ideal for photos and contemplation.
