In just 90 minutes, uncover the places, stories and cultural influences that shaped the city, from Roman and medieval heritage to Alentejo traditions. Walk through the UNESCO-listed historic centre and discover landmarks such as the Roman Temple, Praça do Giraldo, Palácio de D. Manuel and the city’s historic streets. More than sightseeing, this is a relaxed introduction to Évora and the stories behind its culture, architecture and traditions. The tour explores landmarks from the outside and does not include paid monument entrances, making it an ideal first taste of Évora before deeper experiences. The meeting point is at the white arches of the Royal Palace, next to the coffee kiosk inside the garden. Groups may consist of 1 to 16 participants. The guide will be waiting at the scheduled time, will identify themselves as an Évora Cultural Experience guide, and will greet customers by name.
