The Po Nagar Cham Towers, Hindu brick sanctuaries built by the Cham people over several centuries, stand on a hill beside the river, and the Long Son Pagoda has a huge white seated Buddha on its hilltop. The Gothic stone cathedral and the Yersin Museum, honouring a Swiss-French doctor who made his home here, are other stops.
