6. A visit to Drogarati cave, just 3 km away from Sami, will give you the chance to admire the amazing stalactites and stalagmites that make it look like a cathedral. The cave was discovered only 300 years ago when an earthquake destroyed part of the cave and thus created an entrance. It is famous for its spectacular acoustics.

7. Robola Winery Cooperative offers a wine-tasting experience you cannot miss. The Cooperative has 300 partners, who are local farmers, exporting the famous fruity Robola wine worldwide.

Cephalonia is the largest of the Ionian islands, a mountainous Greek island of white pebble beaches, caves, vineyards and the fir forests of Mount Ainos.

Cephalonia is the largest of the Ionian Islands, off Greece's west coast, a rugged island of limestone mountains, deep bays and olive groves. A strong earthquake in 1953 levelled most of its towns, and many were rebuilt in a plainer style; Fiskardo, in the north, was spared and keeps its Venetian-style houses around a small harbour. Argostoli, the capital, has a long waterfront and a stone causeway bridge across its lagoon.
