Our tour starts from your hotel from where we will head to the historical center of Manaus, you'll be able to see the facades of the buildings with the marks of neo classic style that was the look of Manaus during the rubber boom. About Manaus
Manaus is the Amazon's great river port, a rubber-boom city with an opera house, where the dark Rio Negro meets the pale Solimões.
Manaus rose on the rubber trade of the late nineteenth century, and the wealth of that era shows in the Teatro Amazonas, an opera house topped with a dome tiled in the colours of the Brazilian flag. The municipal market beside the port, with ironwork shipped from Europe, sells fish, fruit, herbs and handicrafts, and old floating docks line the waterfront.
