Ablauf

1. We cross the town of Levanto, with its medieval centre, the old sea port, the market loggia and we will go up the path in the woods with beautiful views simulating the sea

2. We reach and see the construction of the Lovara farm, a recovery project of an ancient local agricultural farmhouse, with its vegetable gardens and vineyards We take the panoramic path again until we reach Punta Mesco

   1 Std.

3. We stop at the panoramic point of Punta Mesco, from which you can admire the view of the entire CiInque Terre coast and the crystal clear sea. We continue and with a beautiful stretch overlooking the sea we arrive at the most beautiful panoramic balcony of the excursion with a view of all the Cinque Terre.

4. From the panoramic balcony we then stop to visit the remains of the Benedictine monastery dating back to 1000 AD of Sant'Antonio, with a stop at the ancient traffic light station with a view of the Cinque Terre. Then we continue our steps towards Monterosso.

5. We will descend from the Hermitage along a panoramic path, a staircase that will take us to the center of Monterosso

About La Spezia

La Spezia is a Ligurian port on the Gulf of Poets, with a naval harbour, museums and the main rail gateway to the Cinque Terre villages and Portovenere.

La Spezia lies at the head of a deep gulf on the Ligurian coast, ringed by hills of olive groves and sheltered by a long breakwater. It is an important naval base as well as a commercial port, and a seafront promenade, Passeggiata Morin, runs beside the harbour. The Amedeo Lia Museum holds paintings and medieval works, and the Castello di San Giorgio on a hill above keeps finds from the area.
