• 1Terrible Experience!

  Too much time in Florence & Piza unless going to museums; so waste of an hour in Florence & waste of 50 minutes time in Piza! Told to leave bag on bus, but different bus picked up in Piza. That being said, they told me the other bus would leave bag @ terminal for pick up, & @ terminal was told it was sent to ship. It was not, & we lost to expensive brand new umbrellas. We want a full refund!!!!

• 1Stay Away From this tour Company!

  We purchased this tour to travel to Florence to see the statute of David. The addmission ticket was part of the tour. The tour employee walked us to the museum and was unable to provide the necessary tickets to enter. We were told we could ask for a refund and the employee left us in the street. Poorly run organization!

  Be aware you are on your own with this tour once you get off the bus. If you decide to walk, be prepared to walk several miles. The guide will give you a map and suggest options for you to see. The streets are difficult to match up with the map so using a walking app with your phone is helpful.

About La Spezia

La Spezia is a Ligurian port on the Gulf of Poets, with a naval harbour, museums and the main rail gateway to the Cinque Terre villages and Portovenere.

La Spezia lies at the head of a deep gulf on the Ligurian coast, ringed by hills of olive groves and sheltered by a long breakwater. It is an important naval base as well as a commercial port, and a seafront promenade, Passeggiata Morin, runs beside the harbour. The Amedeo Lia Museum holds paintings and medieval works, and the Castello di San Giorgio on a hill above keeps finds from the area.
