The eastern areas of the park became famous as the former home of Cecil the lion, and it remains a fantastic place to see predators, the Big Five, and lots of other wildlife. Hwange is in Zimbabwe's west, alongside the border with Botswana, and forms the eastern edge of the critically important Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area that stretches across five countries. About Victoriafälle
In der simbabwischen Stadt Victoria Falls stürzt der Sambesi in eine enge Schlucht, mit tosender Gischt, Nebel und Regenbögen.
Die Fälle, vor Ort Mosi-oa-Tunya genannt, der Rauch, der donnert, erstrecken sich über weit mehr als einen Kilometer quer über den Sambesi, und die Gischt steigt so hoch, dass man sie von weither sehen kann.
