Ablauf

1. At 7AM pickup from the hotel in Arequipa city and departure to Yura (2518M),we will drive for one hour and thirty minutes until arrive to the place where we will start the trek to Capua or Corontoiro waterfalls. The begin of the trek is uphill through small hills, crossing arid areas with rare cactus and small dry canyons. After 2 hours of trekking we will arrive to the Capua valley, a nice place with andean terraces, from here we continue following the river to get the main gate of lava, will be in the beginning of the canyon. The fall is 100 M of crystalline water, where we will have a picnic time next to the waterfall. Then we will return to Yura where you can visit the hot springs for relaxing. Return to the city at 4PM

About Arequipa

Arequipa, in southern Peru, is a white-stone colonial city beneath the cone of El Misti volcano, close to the deep Colca Canyon.

Arequipa lies at about 2,300 metres in the dry southern Andes, with the cone of El Misti volcano rising above it and Chachani and Pichu Pichu on either side. Its centre is built from sillar, a light volcanic stone that has earned it the name of the White City. The Plaza de Armas has arcades, palms and the cathedral, whose façade stretches the full length of one side.
