6. Jvari Pass Travertine Natural Monument is calcareous sinter or tufa in Baidara River valley (2197 m). It was formed when carbonate minerals precipitated out of ambient temperature water. Travertine in some places is covered with a thin layer of transparent water on the white surface of the slopes where the intensive development process is still ongoing.

Stepantsminda stands out on the map of Georgia, not just for being just eleven kilometres from the northern border of the country, but also due to the fact that one of the oldest crossroads between Europe and Asia passes through the town. It is not known when Stepantsminda was founded, but a treasure hoard from the 6th-5th centuries BCE was discovered here.

8. Gergeti Trinity Church is a popular name for Holy Trinity Church near Gergeti village. The church's location is on the right bank of the Chkheri River under Kazbegi Mountain, 2170 meters above sea level. Gergeti Trinity Church was built in the 14th century, and this is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province.
