1. We will meet at Lucerne train station and next will enjoy a scenic 1.5 hour train ride through breathtaking landscapes until city of Thun

2. Explore the charming old town of Thun on a guided walk through its historic streets and unique elevated sidewalks. Visit the iconic Thun Castle for sweeping views of the Alps and Lake Thun, and admire the town’s centuries-old church and picturesque wooden bridges. Along the way, enjoy stories of medieval life, local traditions, and hidden gems

3. After the tour, we will enjoy a scenic 1h20 boat ride on Lake Thun, surrounded by mountains and lakeside villages. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch on board during the cruise. Please note that lunch is not included in the excursion.

4. End the day in Interlaken with a tasting experience of local cheese, or Swiss chocolate (Monday to Friday - Cheese tasting, Saturday and Sunday - chocolate tasting)

About Lucerne

Lucerne is a compact Swiss lake city with a covered wooden bridge, a medieval wall and a ring of mountains, in the heart of Switzerland.

Lucerne sits at the northern end of Lake Lucerne, where the Reuss River flows out under two old wooden bridges. The Chapel Bridge, with its stone water tower and painted roof panels, dates from the fourteenth century, although it was partly rebuilt after a fire in 1993. The old town has painted house fronts, squares and the twin-spired Jesuit church, and the Museggmauer, a wall with nine towers, closes it to the north.
