5. We will visit the Nature Reserve where you can observe camelids such as alpacas, llamas and vicuñas EN their natural habitat. ES this is an excellent opportunity to learn more about these native species and take pictures of these animals EN their environment.

About Arequipa

Arequipa, in southern Peru, is a white-stone colonial city beneath the cone of El Misti volcano, close to the deep Colca Canyon.

Arequipa lies at about 2,300 metres in the dry southern Andes, with the cone of El Misti volcano rising above it and Chachani and Pichu Pichu on either side. Its centre is built from sillar, a light volcanic stone that has earned it the name of the White City. The Plaza de Armas has arcades, palms and the cathedral, whose façade stretches the full length of one side.
