Night and long-range dives to the Catalina Islands are offered for certified divers. Advanced Diver Certification is required for long-range dives to the Bat Islands (Park fees are additional if going to Bat Islands).

Playa Hermosa is a quiet beach village in Guanacaste on Costa Rica's north-west Pacific coast, with a curved bay and sunsets over the water.

Playa Hermosa lies in the Gulf of Papagayo on the Pacific side of north-west Costa Rica, in the province of Guanacaste. The beach curves around a calm bay, with a few hotels and restaurants along it and low hills of dry forest behind. It is small and relaxed, with Playas del Coco, the nearest larger beach town, a short drive to the south-west.
