The excursion starts gently at the Brasserie du Ralliement with a breakfast facing the Theater. This moment is also an opportunity to exchange with the Guide and get to know each other better.
The guide will present the history of Saint-Maurice Cathedral, its architecture, and the transformations it has undergone over the centuries. Inside, you will discover the secrets of this building.
Restoration pause!
From the outside, the guide will show you the history of the castle and explain its architecture. The visit will continue inside the castle, then in its gardens, before joining the historic streets of Angers.
After lunch, accompanied by the Guide, you will discover the history of the quays during a walk along the river, before admiring Angers from the panoramic terrace of the Le Quai theater.
We are finishing this beautiful excursion on the Rallying Square. The Guide will recommend its best addresses.

About Angers
Angers is the old capital of Anjou on the Maine River, with a giant black-and-white castle, medieval tapestries and the vineyards of the Loire close by.
Angers' château is a fortress of dark slate and pale tuffeau stone with seventeen round towers, raised in the thirteenth century above the Maine river. Inside hangs the Apocalypse set, a monumental series of tapestries woven in the late fourteenth century that illustrates the Book of Revelation. The cathedral of Saint-Maurice and the half-timbered Maison d'Adam stand in the old centre.
