  My husband & I did this adventure with Alberto and Tomas. They were excellent and we felt very safe while also adventurous. Highly recommend especially if you are a beginner.

  Fun, adventurous. Be ready to jump in! Our guides were awesome- thoughtful, respectful, fun. The park is beautiful so plan some time to walk and explore on your own when you’re done. Helpful that they have a snack bar and restrooms on site

• 5Went with my brother for...

  Went with my brother for his 50th birthday. We had a blast. Due to some no shows we basically had a private tour so that made it extra special. The guides themselves Thomas and Alberto (I think) were the stars. So friendly and warm like they were our buddies just having a blast in nature. Two thumbs up for sure. Just know the physical requirements before booking.

Ponta Delgada is the main town of the Azores, on São Miguel island, with black-and-white streets, a harbour, and volcanic lakes and hot springs inland.

Ponta Delgada stands on the south coast of São Miguel, the largest island of the Azores, a Portuguese archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic. Its old centre is built of black volcanic stone and whitewashed walls, with the three-arched Portas da Cidade at the waterfront, the Church of São Sebastião and the Forte de São Brás. The Carlos Machado Museum holds natural history and art.
