1. The Vadio project, located in the Bairrada region, was founded in two thousand and five by Luís Patrão with the mission of restoring the authenticity and aging potential of the region. Guided by a philosophy of minimal intervention, the boutique winery focuses on traditional grape varieties like Baga and Bical, which beautifully express the local limestone soils through sustainable viticulture practices. Our Exclusive Vadio Tour offers a complete immersion into this philosophy. You will begin with a guided walk through the old vineyards in Poutena to understand the unique terroir and organic farming methods. This is followed by a private visit to the artisanal cellar, where the classic vinification and oak aging processes are revealed. The experience concludes with a premium tasting of four signature wines, including the Vadio White, Red, and their iconic Sparkling wine, paired perfectly with local delicacies. It is an intimate journey into the classic elegance of Bairrada.

Mealhada Gastronomic Tour begins with a private behind-the-scenes look at a traditional roasting house, where master roasters reveal the secrets of the seasoning paste made with garlic, pepper, and local lard. The journey continues with a scenic drive through the surrounding landscape to understand the historical connection between the local community and this culinary craft. The experience culminates in a premium, private tasting where you will savor the freshly roasted leitão paired with the traditional orange slices, homemade potato chips, and a perfectly matched, crisp sparkling Baga wine from the region, offering the ultimate expression of Bairrada hospitality.

3. Exclusive Curia Experience begins with a scenic journey through the grand avenues and romantic gardens of the historic spa town. The highlights include a specialized visit focused on the architectural heritage of the golden twenties and the thermal water tradition. Following this, the itinerary takes you to the panoramic Baloiço Maria Gomes, a beautiful regional landmark nestled among the vineyards. Here, you will enjoy a relaxed stop to sip a refreshing premium drink, capturing the playful and elegant spirit of the Maria Gomes grape variety while overlooking the stunning landscape.
