Here, visitors can embody Van Gogh’s doctor, have a dinosaur as a pet, they can also see their world completely upside down, their head being served at a meal table, winging and flying in the cosmos or even drinking a wine served by God in Miguel Ângelo’s Creation of Adam. This space combines the science of visual perception with the magic of illusion and makes everything seem possible. Photographs are allowed and even encouraged. A space for all ages, to visit with a camera device and have a lot's of fun!

About Portimão

Portimão is a river port and fishing town on the western Algarve, with sardine grills by the quay and the sandy bays and red cliffs of Praia da Rocha.

Portimão sits at the mouth of the Arade River, and its long history of fishing and fish canning shaped the town. The old cannery now houses the town's museum, which records that trade, and the riverfront quay has rows of grills where sardines are cooked in the open air. Across the water is Ferragudo, a village of white houses with the Santa Catarina fortress at the river mouth.
