Come with us for your small-group Aurora hunt for an ethical experience chasing the Aurora Borealis. Leave the light pollution in Tromsø behind and travel into the Arctic wilderness. Our guides use forecasts and local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights. When we find the best spot, we will dress in warm thermal suits, make a cosy campfire, and enjoy a warm meal. During the tour, your guide will take photos of you, which will be available for free in web-sized resolution after the tour. Relax by the fire with hot tea before returning to your hotel in Tromsø. Though there is never a guarantee of seeing this phenomenon, our Aurora Hunters will do their best every night of the season. Increase your chances of seeing the Northern Lights by joining on multiple evenings.

Some nights the clear skies are on the coast so we will chase the gaps here. On the location, your guide will set up a cosy campfire and serve a homemade meal. On occassion when it is too cloudy to have gaps in Norway we might cross the border to Finland. This will only be done when there are substantially higher chances of seeing gaps in the clouds in Finland then in Norway. On the location, your guide will set up a cosy campfire and serve a homemade meal. About Tromsø
Tromsø is a Norwegian city well inside the Arctic Circle, on an island among fjords and peaks, known for the northern lights and the midnight sun.
Tromsø stands on an island in northern Norway, linked to the mainland by a bridge and a tunnel, with jagged peaks rising across the sound. Founded in the eighteenth century, it grew as a base for Arctic hunters and explorers, and the Polar Museum recalls expeditions that set out from the harbour. The Arctic Cathedral, with its angled glass front, stands across the bridge, and wooden houses fill the old centre.
