Prometheus Cave is a natural monument of outstanding beauty worldwide. Its age is approximately 60-70 million years. A karst cave decorated with amazing stalactite and stalagmite formations. . The area is surrounded by a unique Colchian forest. A 700 m long circular stone-paved hiking trail starts from the visitor center and follows the Dadiani historical trail. The trail features 2 bridges, 3 viewing platforms, and a 30-step historical staircase built of large limestone boulders. Visitors also have the opportunity to take a boat ride on a 300-meter (one-way) section of the Abasha River and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountain river canyon.
