It is possible to encounter other species of marine mammals than humpback whales such as globicles, long-billed dolphins, narrow-billed dolphins, sperm whales, flying fish, hunting seabirds. The meeting point is at the small marina at the bottom of Opunohu Bay. It is located at PK17.5, approximately 2.5km after the public beach and ta'ahiamanu.
