5Expert Guide, Amazing Wildlife, Perfect Full-Day Tour
My father and I did a private tour with Alejandro, and we were truly impressed by his vast knowledge of Mayan history, Guatemalan history, as well as the local insects, plants, and animals. We booked a full day with him, including both the sunrise and sunset tours, and it was absolutely worth it. Alejandro communicated clearly in excellent English and had thoughtful, detailed answers to all of our questions. Along the way, we saw many animals—both large and small—and it seemed like he knew all the hidden spots where wildlife likes to appear. His passion for sharing his knowledge really stood out. Breakfast and lunch were included and kept us energized throughout the long day. We highly recommend booking the full-day tour (sunrise and sunset experiences) with Tikal Go for an unforgettable experience.
5Tikal Tour
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and archeology of Tikal. He thoroughly answered our questions. Transportation to the site was comfortable. Lunch was good. We enjoyed the tour very much and highly recommend the company.
5AMAZING Day trip
We had one extra day in Guatemala and took advantage of it by booking this trip. It ended up being the highlight of the trip! VERY well organized company. Messages starting the day before. Our guide Relo was absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable and engaging. He was open to questions and engaged well with our kids. Although it was a long, HOT day there were very few mosquitos. We had a little over 3 hours in the park and loved every hot sweaty minute of it! Wholeheartedly recommend visiting Tikal with Tikal Go!

If you need a tour company in Guatemala Tikal Go is the BEST option! They were amazing every step of the way. They customized a trip for our group, had perfect communication, delivered everything they promised above and beyond! Their vans are really nice and spacious which was great for our group. Julio, who was our guide in Tikal, had so much wonderful information about the park and history of the Mayan culture. We were so happy with our experience with Tikal Go.
5Excellent Bucket List Experience
Tikal Go is a thoroughly professional and flexible company. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Their communication was excellent. our tour guide Daniella was a delight, our driver Danielson was great. We felt that we got exactly what we needed, someone intelligent with a great grasp of history, and the patience to work with two senior citizens. Oh, and the ruins are so worth it if you are a history buff!

great over all experience. long day pickup at 4 am from hotel ride to airport, flight, the another ride to tikal 1h ,25minuts ,but in brand new 13 person mini bus . Our guide was fluent in english and know his job . tour was great but heat of 38c plus humidity took all energy from us, but great lunch at restaurant inside the park hit the spot . we manage to have one hour to spare before flight back , that we spand at isla flores drinking cold beer at the lake . thx GUYS !!!

About Flores
Flores is a small island town in Lake Petén Itzá in northern Guatemala, the main base for the Maya ruins of Tikal and the Petén rainforest.
Flores sits on a small island in Lake Petén Itzá, joined to the shore by a short causeway, with cobbled lanes circling a hilltop plaza and a cathedral. It stands on the site of Nojpetén, the last capital of the Itza Maya, which held out against the Spanish until 1697. The island is ringed with small hotels and lakeside restaurants, and boats cross to lakeshore villages.
