5An amazing Trip in the Cotswolds
Yesterday we visited The Cotswolds. It was a place I had wanted to visit for many years. Chris told us about the history of the area and the peaceful, picturesque towns and villages that we visited. He is an extremely knowledgeable guide, so it was a meaningful trip for me. I enjoyed the trip very much. HIROKO OSADA
5Highly recommended!
Very enjoyable tour. Simon our guide was outstanding, full of interesting information and a really nice guy. He’s also a former BBC cameraman so he kindly snapped a few photos of us with our phones that were terrific. We would never have found any of the places he took us to (only one of which is in Rick Steves Cotswolds section - there are definitely some places that Steves doesn’t list that are beautiful). Our base was Bath and this was a perfect day tour. For connoisseurs of English royal history, we had lunch at a relaxing inn where Prince Harry had an interesting experience. Highly recommended!
5It was wonderful,...
It was wonderful, informative, beautiful scenery with so much incredible information. I would highly recommend
5A day to remember
My husband and I went on this tour because we always wanted to see the Cotswolds as they looked so beautiful. We selected this tour and it exceeded our expectations. We were on the tour with 2 other couples we did not know but were a pleasure to be with. We cannot say enough about our guide Max. Max is a wealth of information. He knew everything about the Cotswolds. We stopped at several different locations; a hotel for tea, a local pub for lunch, churches, Malemesbury, Castle Combe - Wilshire and many other beautiful places . We had a wonderful experiences and learned so much. I highly recommend this tour, and of course, Max. Thank you for a great day. Max!
5Last day in England
Max was great...a wealth of history. We truly enjoyed the whole day. Small tour was a unique experience that allowed us to ask questions, make stops that were special, and get out and walk a bit also. Excellent value
5Amazing Day in the Cotswolds!
Had an amazing day with our guide Chris Rodd early September. My sister and I asked him to tailor a day in the Cotswolds to see areas we would not be able to see on our own--and he absolutely delivered! Chris picked us up in Bath early morning and then for the full day we explored hidden gems away from the crowds-- we learned so much! Each place was unique and filled with so much history and beauty. He took us to a fabulous place for lunch and at the end of the day dropped us at out hotel in Broadway. Chris is easy-going, funny and worked hard to ensure the day was special and memorable.

About Bath
Bath, in the west of England, is a Georgian spa city of honey-coloured stone, built around natural hot springs first used by the Romans.
Bath's hot springs were first enclosed by the Romans, who built a temple and bathhouse complex here in the first century, now the Roman Baths museum beside Bath Abbey. In the eighteenth century the city rebuilt itself as a fashionable spa in pale local limestone, and the terraces and crescents designed by John Wood the Elder and the Younger, including the Circus and the Royal Crescent, give it its look. The whole city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Top-ranked sights in Bath: Roman Baths, Royal Crescent, The Circus.
