About Victoriafälle
In der simbabwischen Stadt Victoria Falls stürzt der Sambesi in eine enge Schlucht, mit tosender Gischt, Nebel und Regenbögen.
Die Fälle, vor Ort Mosi-oa-Tunya genannt, der Rauch, der donnert, erstrecken sich über weit mehr als einen Kilometer quer über den Sambesi, und die Gischt steigt so hoch, dass man sie von weither sehen kann. Pfade durch den Regenwald auf der simbabwischen Seite führen zu Aussichtspunkten gegenüber den Main Falls, dem Devil's Cataract und dem Danger Point, mit Regenbögen, die im Nebel tanzen.
