Then we'll ski till Lagazuoi cable-car. And at the end we go back to the car, skiing down a nice easy slope that pass through the forest.

About Cortina d'Ampezzo

Cortina d'Ampezzo is a Dolomite resort town in Veneto, ringed by pale limestone peaks, long known for skiing and for hosting the 1956 Winter Olympics.

Cortina lies in the Ampezzo valley at about 1,200 metres, in a wide bowl of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage mountain range. Peaks such as the Tofane, Cristallo and Pomagagnon surround the town, which has long been called the Queen of the Dolomites. Until 1918 it belonged to Austria, and the Ladin language is still spoken in the valley.
