  1. Meet at Exit E of Nanluoguxiang Subway Station. After a brief introduction by the guide, enter the alley from the south end and stroll northward while sampling street snacks along the way. The guide will share stories about old Beijing's nightlife and hutong culture.

Stop in front of the red wall and the pedestrian area for photo opportunities — this is the same iconic spot featured in Zhao Lei's famous song "Gulou."
