You will be picked up from your hotel in the city center and will be escorted in your air-conditioned vehicle to Hazratganj in the afternoon. Upon arrival meet your local guide and start your walking tour. The Victorian Walk at Hazratganj familiarizes you with the shopping area’s rich history. On this tour, you will discover the Hazratganj of yore and will be able to compare it with the transformed mall of today. Hazratganj Mall goes back to the early 19th century, survived the mutiny of 1857, was at one time accessible to the British elite only, experienced the second world war and Indian Independence in 1947. About Lucknow
Lucknow, capital of Uttar Pradesh, is a city of Nawabi palaces, grand imambaras and refined Awadhi cooking beside the Gomti River.
Lucknow was the capital of the Nawabs of Awadh in the 18th and 19th centuries, who left a city of domes, gateways and gardens. The Bara Imambara, built in the 1780s, has a vast vaulted hall and an upper labyrinth, the Bhul Bhulaiya, and the Rumi Darwaza, a towering gate, stands nearby.
