1. You continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archaeological museum ever built, opened in November 2025. Your guide walks you through the soaring atrium past the towering statue of Ramses II, up the Grand Staircase, and into the Tutankhamun galleries where his complete collection is displayed together for the very first time in history. The gold mask, the chariots, the throne, all explained by someone who actually studied them.

2. Your Egyptologist meets you at your hotel and travels with you to the Giza Plateau, about 30 minutes from central Cairo. You stand at the base of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, walk its perimeter, and hear the actual construction theories that hold up to modern research. Optional: enter inside the Great Pyramid ($11 USD per person), camel ride along the desert ridge.

3. Your driver takes you to the panoramic view point where all three Pyramids align in a single frame for the iconic Giza photograph. You have time to take photos, hear how the alignment relates to Pharaonic burial practices, and absorb the scale of the necropolis from a distance.

4. A short drive to the Great Sphinx of Giza, the limestone guardian carved from a single rock outcrop over 4,500 years ago. Your Egyptologist explains its disputed age, what it actually represents, and the centuries of restoration. Time for photos from the dedicated viewing platform with the Pyramid of Khafre rising behind it.
