Explore the Green Mosque Tomb, built by the 5th Ottoman Sultan Mehmet in the 15th century.
The Grand Mosque (Ulu Camii), which is a unique structure in Ottoman architecture in terms of its construction style, was built by Yıldırım Bayezid between 1396 and 1399. Yıldırım Bayezid wanted to have 20 masjids built in Bursa after the victory of Nicopolis in 1396, but he had the Ulu Mosque with 20 domes built upon the suggestion of his son-in-law Emir Sultan, one of the important scholars of the period.
Koza Han was built in the late 15th century by II. It is an inn built by Bayezid in Bursa for the architect Abdül ula bin Pulat Şah as a foundation for his works in Istanbul. It is located between the Ulu Mosque and Orhan Mosque in the Khans Area. The inn, where mostly cut stone and occasionally brick are used, has two floors and a portico in front of its rooms. The portico part consists of 40 concrete domes. It has a total of 95 rooms, 50 on the upper floor and 45 on the lower floor. All of the rooms on the upper floor are used as shops selling silk and silk products.
It took its name from İnkaya Village, one of the first villages of the Ottoman Empire. The 600-year-old historical plane tree is world famous with its magnificent appearance.
Take a cable car to Uludag (Great Mountain), today renowned as the “Snow Paradise”, Uludag is the most popular winter sports centre in Turkey.

About Istanbul
Top-ranked sights in Istanbul: Dolmabahce Palace (Dolmabahce Sarayi), Bosphorus, Bosphorus Bridge (Bogazici Koprusu).
